This campaign started in early 2019 with a group of families who live near the Edmonton incinerator. We were familiar with the incinerator’s plumes of pollution and concerned about the environmental and public health risks of the rebuild.
We’ve joined forces with concerned residents across North London and we view this campaign as an opportunity to build a greener, cleaner London.
The campaign is quickly spreading here in the early months of 2020. Many members of Extinction Rebellion and the Labour Party have joined the cause — and we hope you will too.
